Vision To vitalize, motivate, support and engage the Lodges of Toronto Humber Valley District
Mission Our District will achieve it’s mission through effective communication, connecting with all Lodges through visitation, support the Wardens and Masters Association and future Lodge and District Leaders, conducting activities that support charitable needs of tthe communities, facilitating resources re: Education, Mentoring, Officers Progression, etc. and the promotion of camaraderie and fraternalism through the spirit of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth
Member Services Hold District Lodges of Instruction, Develop a Wardens and Masters & District Officers Training and Development Program to include the DDGM conducting a formal Leadership Development Meeting with W.M’s and Wardens. Target Programs for new members, Officers and experienced members
District Communication Promote a District Dashboard of Events, Promote the current District website, Re-establish Lists of Speakers and Members to call upon in Ritual Emergencies and Guest Speakers. Continue to provide a Mass email list to enable the brethren to receive weekly updates of upcoming events.
District Administration The District should mirror the Grand Lodge Programs (B2B, F2F, Blood Donors etc.) DDGM should establish clear goals and responsibilities for each District Committee. Each Lodge should provide a List of Officers with emails and phone numbers to the District Secretary on the day following installation.
Fraternity The District should develop structured and informed Family - inclusive Social Events (i.e. Ladies Night, Picnic, Chili Cook Off, Baseball Game, Family Day, Golf, Pancake Breakfast etc.)
Community The District should participate in Community Events such as Bursaries, Blood Donor Clinics, Spnsorships, Festivals, Parades, Rib Fest, Relief at local levels etc.
District Health and Unity Support and guide Wardens and Masters Association to ensure strength and viability. Encourage the visitation of brethren within our District. Create an electronic bulletin board. Promote social functions to improve unity within our District. Appoint a District Relations Chairman to assist and promote District Unity, and encourage Lodges to use brethren from within our District for Installing Boards
