To begin with a traditional festival of classical music Dvořákova Praha.
In the center of this festival are compositions by a well-known Czech composer Antonín Dvořák. Due to this fact from September 7 till 23 a lot of famous orchestras, conductors and classical music performers are going to come to Prague. Concerts take place in Rudolfinum, in a concert hall of Prague’s conservatoire and in St. Vitus cathedral in Prague Castle.
To relieve the sadness because of the last warm days and taste hot summer’s taste, we recommend to visit a festival dedicated to grape harvest and first young wine. Grapes have ripen and gathered to make the first young wine out of it. So called burchak or new wine you can taste in many different places. There are a lot of wine yards outside Prague, so you can choose between new wine in Znojmo from 11 till 13 of September or in Mikulov the same weekend. Melnik offers to visit and taste its new wine from 18 till 20 of September. The last but not the least Prague offers to enjoy young wine from 25 to 27 of September. The festival will be held in Kunratice wine yards.
To make a long story short, September cab be devoted to wine tasting from different parts of the Czech Republic. It’s more important to know when enough is enough!
